›What is Lark Stories?
Lark Stories writes and illustrates a personalized bedtime story starring your child. You share their name, a favorite animal and place, and a theme like courage or friendship, and you get a five-page story with five watercolor-style illustrations to read on screen or download as a printable PDF.
›What age are the stories for?
The stories are written for children aged about 4 to 7: clear sentences, gentle suspense and a cozy ending. Younger children enjoy them read aloud, and early readers can try them on their own.
›Is it free?
Yes. There's no account and no subscription. To keep things fair for everyone, each person can create a few stories per hour.
›Is my child's information saved?
No. Your answers are only used to write and illustrate the story. We don't keep them on our servers: the story lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it, so download the PDF if you want to keep it.
›Which languages can stories be written in?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Bulgarian, Chinese and Russian. The story is written directly in the language you choose, not translated word for word.
›How long does it take to make a story?
Usually a minute or two. The story is written first, then the five illustrations are painted one by one.
›How are the stories made?
Every story is newly written by AI from your answers, and every illustration is newly painted, so no two stories are the same. The stories are written to be gentle and age-appropriate, with a calm, happy ending made for bedtime.
